Xavi Must Choose Manchester United: Premier League Trio After Barcelona Star

Xavi has represented Barcelona almost 800 times between the B side and the first team. In that time he has won seven La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues, three Copa del Reys and a host of individual awards. He has also racked up 130 games for the Spanish senior side, winning two European Championships and a World Cup. Now, though, it seems like he is destined for a new challenge.

Reports are linking him with a move away from Camp Nou, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City on the prowl.

For me, if he has the choice between the three, I would suggest he chose Manchester United.

The Red Devils have struggled with the middle of their side this season and are desperate for a Xavi type player. He is an attack-minded midfielder who knows exactly how to carve a defence open and would fit nicely next to Michael Carrick.

The two are midfield dictators, but Carrick is more defensive, while Xavi likes to burst forward.

This season he has a pass completion of 93% but only has three league assists.

With a new manager in charge and a fresh slate next season, Xavi could be the talisman to lead the charge forward.
