The Marseille striker was, according to the Daily Mail, watched by Chelsea scouts in his side’s 2-2 draw with Ibrahimovic F.C (sorry, PSG) at the weekend. The France International scored 20 goals last season, and was linked with Tottenham in the summer, but a move never materialised.

Fernando Torres must be shaking in his Spanish boots at the prospect of about 42 strikers coming this January, and Remy, who has been compared to Thierry Henry, could finally make his way to England. The pacey front-man nearly joined Stoke 2 years ago believe it or not, while at Nice, and Tottenham and Arsenal have long been linked.

Roberto Di Matteo’s side have started the season brilliantly, most importantly scoring goals, but with Silverware already being talked about by Chelsea fans, competition is wanted by the Italian.

Let’s just hope Loic doesn’t have twitter.
