Fergie set to cash in on Ashley

Another Fergie bit of gossip where it's mooted that the Scotsman could do the unthinkable and swoop for Chelsea's unwanted left-back Ashley Cole. 

The Londoner, apparently surplus to requirements in West London, could rekindle his love affair with Robin Van Persie should he join the ex-Gunner at Man Utd. 

Cole is set to leave the Bridge at the end of this season with Roman wielding his axe over the old guard. Their ridiculous loss will almost certainly be United's gain.
