Spurs left-back eyed by Chelsea

With the news that Ashley Cole is set to depart the European champions at the end of the season, caughtoffside.com are reporting that Chelsea have set their sights on Tottenham's Benoit Assou-Ekotto as a possible replacement.

That's right Chelsea fans - Benoit Assou-Ekotto. Does anyone remember the last time they saw Spurs concede a goal that wasn't the left-back's fault? Perhaps with a price tag of just £10 million, therein lies the answer behind the deal.
