Holtby a man in demand

As the SKY commentators told us about 284 times when Schalke comfortably dispatched Arsenal at the Emirates last week, Lewis Holtby actually has English heritage despite the fact he plays for Germany!

Of course, this MUST mean that he'd want to leave the Bundesliga for the Premier League and even more laughably, his boyhood connection with Everton means that the 22-year-old is supposedly desperate to ditch Champions League regulars Schalke for the perenniel bridesmaids at Goodison Park.

However, according to SKY Sports today, Liverpool are now showing an interest in the young German international.

Now there would be an interesting choice!
