Ribeiro returns to West Country

Bristol City have recalled defender, Christian Ribeiro from his loan spell at Scunthorpe United.

The Welshman made over 10 appearances for the Irons in his 2 months in North Lincolnshire, but with the Robins struggling for numbers at the back, manager Derek McInnes made the decision for him to return to Ashton Gate. 

Speaking to the clubs official website on Wednesday, the Scotsman said 'Christian is back with us now and trained today'. 

Despite returning to Bristol, Ribeiro played no part in the 1-1 draw with Middlesborough at The Riverside Stadium on Saturday.
