Chelsea are preparing a final take-it-or-leave-it offer of £7.5m for Wigan Athletic striker Victor Moses.
The Nigeria international has been courted for much of the summer by the Blues, as they look to compensate for the loss of Didier Drogba.
Chelsea have already seen three bids for Moses turned down by the Latics, despite the player refusing to sign a new deal at the DW Stadium.
The Champions League holders have recently bought in Marko Marin, Eden Hazard and Oscar as they look to build on their success in Munich.
Manager Roberto Di Matteo recently insisted he is keen to bring in two more players before the close of the transfer window next month.
The current Blues boss, who replaced Andre Villas-Boas, is determined to add to his front-line this summer, with Moses likened to Drogba’s possible replacement.
