Albiol coming to England

Tired of sitting on the Real Madrid bench? Fancy a fresh challenge in England? 

That's what Arsene Wenger will hope to lure Raul Albiol with as the Frenchmen goes about adding defensive recruitments. 

Arsenal have actually defended superbly so far this season; however Wenger only has three very good centre-halves at his disposal, and the addition of Albiol would only improve their strength in depth in that position.

Apparently Wenger faces competition from Manchester United for the Spanish centre back, with the Red Devils injury problems at centre back rearing their ugly head again, with captain Nemanja Vidic ruled out for eight weeks. 

It's believed Arsenal have the advantage though as they can offer him more first team opportunities.
