Manchester City may well have to look elsewhere to find their Balotelli replacement, as Real Madrid officials are rumoured to have already opened talks with the in-form Edinson Cavani (accoridng to the Daily Mail). The Citizens have been one top striker short since the sale of their controversial Italian, and the strong, hardworking Uruguayan was top of the list to replace him. Madrid's interest, however, will be a great stumbling block in their attmepts to land the striker. it will be a hard enough task as it is, with Napoli not too keen on selling, and making a stand on the terms of his sale. The club has stated that only way they will discuss a deal is if someone triggers the player's substantial release clause... of £52 million.
