Redknapp blocks Kranjcar move

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has blocked QPR's move for unsettled midfielder Nico Kranjcar.

The Croatian international has found first-team opportunities hard to come by this season with Luka Modric and Scott Parker both excelling in the Spurs midfield.

But Redknapp insists there isn't any chance QPR will be able to get their man, insisting that the midfielder is still a very important player for the North London side.

He may let the player leave next season however, if he continues to have sit on the bench-

"They have no chance. I wouldn't sell Niko to anyone. He is far too important a player for me." he said.

"In the long term, who knows? If he doesn't play next year and wants to go, I maybe wouldn't stand in his way as I like him so much.

"But we don't want to let people go who can help us."
