Harry Redknapp has revealed his desire to pick up the FA Cup this year. Spurs fancy their chances given that both Manchester City and Manchester United have already exited the competition, making them the highest ranked Premier League team still left in the cup.
Redknapp told the Daily Mail "We want to win the FA Cup this year. It would be great for the club. We are in there with a big chance and we have a team as good as any left in there."
Tottenham take on Stevenage of League One on Sunday in a televised clash and will therefore fancy their chances of progressing to the next round. Spurs haven’t picked up the cup since 1991, so success in the competition is long overdue.
Redknapp himself lifted the trophy with Portsmouth in 2008 and if he is to take the England job as expected, winning the competition would be the perfect way to leave White Hart Lane.
