Key player considers Emirates exit

Tom Mordey Alex Song is avoiding opening talks over a new contract with Arsenal. The midfielder has two years left to run on his current deal, but he has so far refused to enter negotiations about extending his stay at the Emirates.
The Cameroonian international has been linked with big spending PSG and it could be that Song is considering his options following a poor season for the Gunners. The lack of Champions League football could prove a deciding factor in whether Song commits his career to Arsenal or whether he chooses to move on.
Song has established himself as a key member of Arsene Wenger’s side, playing the holding midfield role that allows others around him to display their attacking flair. Arsenal struggle through the middle of the park whenever Song is absent so therefore the fans would be disappointed to see him leave the club.
They would have to consider selling the player within the next year if he doesn’t sign a new contract to get a good price.
