Roy: JT's a warrior

George Powell Roy Hodgson has described John Terry as a warrior and expects to see his combative instincts come to the fore in the remainder of England's Euro 2012 campaign.
Although, the presence of the Chelsea captain in the squad has been the subject of much debate. The 31 year old faces a court case in July, after allegations that he racially abused Anton Ferdinand.
The controversial omission of Rio Ferdinand, Anton Ferdinand's brother, from the squad, many feel, is down to the hearing after the Euro's have finished.
After citing 'footballing reasons' as an explanation for the Manchester United defenders absence, Hodgson is certain that Terry will repay his faith with battling performances in Poland and Ukraine.
