Wenger ‘90% sure’ of Giroud deal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that Oliver Giroud will be joining the Gunners over the summer.

The striker enjoyed a prolific season for Montpellier last year, netting 21 league goals as they secured their first Ligue 1 championship in their history.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadiums and Wenger is ‘90% sure’ a deal will be done.

"Giroud didn't play much (at the Euros so far), but he's going to be an Arsenal player 90 per cent next season," he told TF1.

"I think he has exceptional potential and will integrate very well in our collective and our way of playing.

"He is a real team player and knows how to combine with other players and I'm sure he will do well with us."
