No Drog link - Barca

Barcelona have dismissed media speculation linking them with veteran, battering ram forward, Didier Drogba.

The 34 year old, who announced that he was joining Shanghai Shenhua last week, was reportedly due in Catalonia for talks with the Copa del Rey winners.

However, Sandro Rossell, the Barca president has said that he knows nothing of the link with the Ivorian and Tito Vilanova stated that the main focus of the Spanish giants was strengthening the defence; they signed Jordi Alba from Valencia yesterday.

Drogba, who scored the winning penalty in Chelsea's Champions League triumph over Bayern Munich last month, is due to join Shenhua on Sunday.
