Holtby's tenuous Arsenal link

Much admired Lewis Holtby has unveiled his tenuous link to Arsenal causing some transfer speculation that he may join the Emirates club.

The 21-year-old Schalke midfielder is a German international with two caps but holds dual nationality as his father is English.

Holtby suggested that as his father is an Everton fan he may be interested in a move to the club; a rumour exacerbated by the belief that Toffee’s gaffer David Moyes has money to spend.

However, Holtby said in the same quote that he also supports Arsenal so a move there might be on the cards though he midfielder insists he is only focussed on Schalke right now.
