£4 Million Moura Is Not Enough

Wednesday’s Daily Mirror reported Sao Paulo have rejected an improved bid from Manchester United for Lucas Moura.

United have upped their offer from £25.9 million to £29.9 million, although the latest bid matched Sao Paulo’s valuation of the midfielder, club president Juvenal Juvencio has turned down the offer.

The cash strapped Brazilian club now seem intent on keeping the 19 year old, who has also been targeted by Inter Milan. A club source said “We have decided Moura will be an important part of the trophies we want to win.”
