Rodger On Cl-Interest

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his club are interested in recruiting Fulham’s Clint Dempsey.

Dempsey has been touted as a possible departure from Craven Cottage for some time following consecutive impressive seasons and now Rodgers has finally admitted he hopes to sign the American.

Fulham are reluctant to let Dempsey go although he is nearing the last year of his contract and will be able to leave on a free transfer next summer. Now could be a good time for Fulham to cash in on last season’s top scorer as the 30 year old would command a price of around £10 million.
