Arsenal have confirmed that they have received a number of offers for wantaway captain, Robin Van Persie.

The Dutch international has decided not to agree a new deal with the Gunners, claiming that the club lacks ambition.

The 28 year old has 12 months to run on his deal with the Emirates outfit, leaving the club with a decision to make, whether to let him go in a big money deal now, or risk leaving him for free next year, albeit having retained his services for the next 12 months.

The Arsenal captain arrived at training this week for further discussions with Arsene Wenger and Ivan Gazidis, but his mind appears to have already been made up.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus have all been strongly linked with the player.
