Ancelotti rules out Terry swoop

Ex-Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out a move that would bring John Terry to Paris-St-Germain.

The PSG coach was reported to be lining up a £8m swoop for the Chelsea skipper after Thiago Silva signed a new deal at AC Milan.

The pair worked together in the two seasons that Ancelotti spent in charge at Stamford Bridge when asked at a press conference if Terry was an option for him he replied “no”.

The press conference revolved around which players Ancelotti intends to bring in to the club after snapping up Ezequiel Lavezi from Napoli for a reported 30 million Euros earlier this week and is keen on further additions to his squad.

Ancelotti said: I think three or four players will happen, if you include Lavezzi. The club talks with some players and I think we are well positioned."
