Young winger eyes up first team football

A Chelsea youth team product has set his sights on regular first team football next season despite being linked with a move away from the club.

Winger Gael Kakuta has been linked with a move to Marseille this summer, but has insisted he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The 21-year-old has only made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Blues and spent last season on loan at Bolton.

He has been linked with another temporary move although he insists his short term future is in West London.

He said: "I am flattered by Marseille's interest, but there has been nothing official, so maybe it is just paper talk. I want to play first-team football week in, week out, either at Chelsea or anywhere else."
