Reds to offer player swap deal?

Liverpool are looking at the possibility of a player swap deal to land their long term target.

Charlie Adam could be offered to Fulham to tempt the London club into selling star striker, Clint Dempsey to Liverpool.

Adam, 26, arrived at Anfield under former boss, Kenny Dalglish, but has so far not convinced the Liverpool faithful.

The Reds have been looking to take Dempsey to Merseyside since the end of last season. It is believed Dempsey is open to the move but Liverpool will not match Fulham's asking price of £12 million.

Liverpool are hoping the inclusion of Adam with seal the deal.
