Confusion over Ramirez

Adam Gray Premier League new-boys Southampton face a slight hitch in their pursuit of Bologna play-maker Gaston Ramirez after the two clubs seemingly got their wires crossed over a deal.
Saints manager Nigel Adkins had said that a club record deal had near enough been completed for the highly-rated Uruguayan, telling reporters sources in Italy are claiming the deal is done.
Bologna President Albano Guaraldi says that a deal will remain a long way off if Southampton do not change their proposals.
"The conditions proposed by the British (Southampton) did not satisfy me: they must either change or Ramirez will remain a Bologna player", said Guaraldi.
