Sunderland in for Caimanta

Martin O'Neil could be about to add a creative talent to his Sunderland squad in the form of 17 year old talent Joao Caimanta. 

The Portugal under-17 international impressed Black Cat chiefs during a trial at the Stadium of Light and after the midfielder failed to agree terms with Porto, Sunderland are back in for a permanent deal for the highly-rated youngster.

Chelsea were rumoured to be impressed with Caimanta after his goal-scoring exploits in the youth team at Porto, but Sunderland are believed to be leading the chase for the attacker.
