Afellay an Arsenal target?

Arsenal could be about to make a late foray into the transfer market by making a move for Barcelona winger Ibrahim Afellay.

The Dutchman had been offered to the Gunners on a loan deal earlier in the summer and after being left out of Barca's early season squads by new manager Tito Vilanova, the players' agent is attempting to set up a temporary move once more.

Having just returned from a long-term injury, representative Rob Jansen sees a loan deal as the best way to ensure regular football for his man, with Inter Milan also reportedly interested.
