Striker leaves Arsenal

Nicklas Bendtner has followed Robin Van Persie in being the latest striker to leave through the exit door at the Emirates by completing a deadline day loan move to Juventus.

The Danish forward had been frustrated by a lack of first-team opportunities at the Gunners and following a decent loan spell with Sunderland which was capped off by an impressive Euro 2012, he has sparked the Italian champions to swoop for his signature.

Bendtner heads to Turin on an initial one-year loan deal with the Bianconeri having the option to turn the deal permanent next summer.
